The average brown trout is 2lbs. Brown trout over 4lbs are not rare and brown trout above 5lbs are caught by our clients every year.

There is no closed season for Grayling as there is for Salmon and Trout, therefore you can fish for Grayling at any time of the year although December through to March is probably the best time. Your fishing year need not stop in October until next year, join us on the river Annan for a guided fishing trip for Grayling in the middle of winter. The secluded Dunan Estate is situated at the head of Loch Rannoch, Scotland. This is an ideal location for activity holidays for fishermen, sportsmen, walkers, cyclist and families alike. Our 3 bedroom self catering cottage has been recently refurbished and sleeps up to 6 people. Being part of the lodge courtyard it has access to the walled private garden and fenced outer garden which runs alongside the river, making it a very safe place for children to play. Dogs are also welcome.
