Guided Pike Fishing Trips & Pike Fishing Breaks in Scotland. |
Our guided pike fishing trips take place on some of the most prolific pike fishing lochs in Scotland including the world renowned Loch Awe & Loch Lomond, where we catch double figure pike on a regular basis. The Scottish Pike record was caught on Loch Lomond and weighed in at a staggering 47lbs 11ozs. We also have access to a number of excellent pike fishing venues throughout Scotland.
Our professional fishing guides have a wealth of pike fishing experience, which has been built up over many years of big pike fishing in Scotland and they know the very best fishing hot spots likely to produce exhilarating action at any time of the year. |

Our pike fishing trips are on comfortable, fully equipped fishing boats which give us access to all of the best pike fishing areas on each of the lochs, most of which can't be reached by bank fishing alone. We typically source locally supplied dead baits and also use a wide selection of very effective pike fishing plugs. We can also arrange to bring with us some fly fishing tackle if you fancy fly fishing for pike on a light line. We operate a very strict catch and release policy on all of our pike fishing trips. |

Loch Lomond and Loch Awe are huge freshwater lochs, Loch lomond being by far the largest loch in Scotland by surface area. Trying to locate the monster pike in a loch of this size is nearly impossible without years of experience and an in depth knowledge of the loch itself. Let us take the guesswork out of your fishing trip. We can't force the pike take a bait but we can guarantee to have you in the right spot with the right tackle and give you the best opportunity of landing one of these huge pike. |

Loch Alvie is another of the numerous highland lochs that is home to pristine double figure pike. Situated just south of Aviemore, this 160-acre natural glacier loch lies between the Monadhliath and the Cairngorm mountain ranges of the Highlands. The Red River runs off the Monadhliath Mountains and into the loch before eventually joining the River Spey. Loch Alvie has a high ph value compared with other lochs in the area and an abundance of sub surface weed and water crustation type wildlife. |

Above are a couple of speciman pike caught by our old pike fishing guide Dominic Moore before he retired from guiding. These monsters were carefully returned and still lurk in the weed beds waiting to be caught again. Perhaps even a few more pounds bigger than they were a couple of years ago.
Scotland is world famous for its Atlantic salmon fishing and whisky distilleries but one of Scotland's best kept secrets is that it is one of the best countries in Europe to fish for pristine monster pike.
