![]() | Pike Fishing Trips and Short BreaksAs with our coarse fishing trips our pike fishing trips take place on the same lochs, Castle Loch, Loch Ken and St mary's Loch. Castle Loch at Lochmabem produced a monster 31 lbs pike at the tail end of last year as well as dozens of double figure pike throughout the season. All of the lochs we take our clients to hold a great head of hard fighting pike of all sizes and offer fisherman some of the best pike fishing to be had in Scotland.
We offer all types of pike fishing including dead bait, spinning with lures and one of our specialities is fly fishing for pike. If you have never tried this |
before ask us to bring our fly fishing tackle with us and we will show you how to cast a fly and how to fly fish for pike. This could seriously change the way you fish for pike in the future. Playing a double figure pike on a fly line is one of the most exhilarating methods of pike fishing you are ever likely to experience. Large perch are also not shy of taking a well presented fly. No matter what method you prefer, trying to locate a monster pike in a large loch can take up a great deal of time without years of experience and an in depth knowledge of the loch itself. Let us take the guesswork out of your fishing trip. We can't force the pike take a bait but we can guarantee to have you in the right spot with the right tackle and give you the best opportunity of landing one of these huge fresh water predators.
|
We have three fully equipped pike fishing boats which gives us access to the whole loch and area's that can't be reached casting from the bank. You could spend the day fishing from the boat and if you are really keen to continue throughout the night we can set you up in one of our bivoacks and pick you up again in the morning for more boat fishing. Please note that to conserve the high quality of our coarse and pike fishing we operate a strict catch and release policy on all of our coarse fishing trips. |
